Edward P. Winston

Edward Phelps Winston, 91, of Moline, died September 4, 2008 at his home.
Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be 1-4 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, Monday at 10 am. Memorials may be made to Martha Winston his beloved wife.
Edward was born July 21, 1917 in Portage, WI to Marvin Thurston and Helen Phelps Winston. He married Martha J. Henderson on December 4, 1943.
Edward was a plant superintendent for International Harvester Farmall Works for 34 ? years. He also worked in Conservation Corps. He was a member of Christ the King Church in Moline. He enjoyed playing golf, traveling and gardening. He loved his children and family with his whole heart and soul.
