Edythe L. Batch

Edythe L. Batch, age 99, of Moline, died Sunday, September 26, 2010, at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the donor's choice.
Edythe was born April 14, 1911 in Munson Township, IL, the daughter of Harold A. and Caroline W. (Carlson)
Anderson. She married Joel Batch on April 12, 1942, in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on May 2, 1998.
Edythe was employed by the Office of Interstate Commerce in Washington D.C., as a clerk for the Joliet Arsenal in Illinois, and later co- owned Joliet Optical Company. She was a past member of both the Elks and Oakwood Country Club. Edythe was also an avid reader.
