Effie E. Houldsworth, 79 of Moline died June 28, 2006 at Crossroads Unit at Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley, IL.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 3, 2006 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Rock Island. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-7 p.m. with a Trisagion service at 6:30 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the church.
Effie was born September 17, 1926 in Moline to Nicholas and Elaine (Lingris) Tertipes. She married Stanley Houldsworth on July 13, 1946 in Clinton, IA. He preceded her in death on July 20, 2001.
Effie was an executive secretary for Quad City Development Group for 30 years. She retired in 1990.
Effie was a lifelong member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Rock Island, IL.
She is survived by

Grandchildren Jocasta Houldsworth Wilmington, NC
