Elizabeth Mae Armel, age 89, of Moline, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Alternatives for the Older Adult.
Elizabeth was born October 14, 1921 in Wichita, KS, the daughter of William and Ruth Mockmore. She married John Armel on June 27, 1977 in Freeport, IL.
Elizabeth was employed at Fresh Pak Candy Company, where she put together baskets of candy arrangements.
