Elizabeth J. "Betty" Johnson, age 83, of Moline, died Friday, July 22, 2011 at Rock Island Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26th at First Evangelical Free Church in Moline. Visitation is from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd, 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is at Western Township Cemetery, Orion. Memorials may be made to her church, First Evangelical Free for Mission Work.
Betty was born December 13, 1927 in Rock Island, the daughter of Henry and Mable Thompson Rosenthal. She married Bert C. Johnson on October 20, 1945 in Coal Valley.
Betty was a member of First Evangelical Free Church in Moline. She loved to cook, bowl, and garden.
