Elizabeth Othelia Edmund Peterson, age 94 of Rock Island, formerly of Moline died Saturday, July 15, 2006 at Pathway Hospice, Trinity at Terrace Park, Bettendorf.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 20, 2006 at First Lutheran Church, Moline. Visitation is Wednesday from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is in Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church, Moline or ARC.
Elizabeth was born February 17, 1912 in Jefferson County, IA the daughter of Amos and Minnie Odean Edmund. She was baptized at New Sweden Lutheran Church. Elizabeth married Elmer C. Peterson on June 27, 1935 in Jefferson County. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1984.
Elizabeth graduated from Lockridge High School, Jefferson County. She was a member of First Lutheran Church , Moline, and Margaret Bottome-McGee Circle of King's Daughters. Elizabeth was also a member of the Augustana Endowment Society. She enjoyed sewing, bridge, traveling, and being with people. She was the family historian.
