Elizabeth “Betty” Renstrom, of Moline, IL, passed away January 6, 2017, at Unity Point Health, Trinity Rock Island, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made out to Salem Lutheran Church.
Elizabeth was born on August 20, 1925, in Cleveland, IL, the daughter of Maurice and Elizabeth DeTaeye Barbier. She married Harold N. Renstrom on April 17, 1948 in Moline, IL and he preceded her in death on May 16, 1987. Elizabeth worked her career as a secretary both Deere & Co. for 8 years and later at DeSaulniers Printing for 26 years.
Elizabeth was a member at Salem Lutheran Church in Moline and was a volunteer with the former Lutheran Auxillary. She also enjoyed traveling.
Survivors include her nephews Ray (Mary Lou) DeVolder, Tom L. Bull, nieces Joann (Harley) Webb, Rae Anne McKittrick, and Bonnie Bull; cousin Dorothy (Lee) Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, Loise DeVolder and Josephine Bull; brothers Emil Barbier and Albert Barbier.
