Ella Arlene Gotheridge, 89, of Bettendorf, IA died Monday, March 19, 2012 at Bettendorf Health Care, Bettendorf, IA.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2012 at Bethel Assembly of God Church, 3535 38th Avenue, Rock Island, IL. Visitation will be on Friday 11 to 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Bethel Assembly of God Church where she was a member, or to Hospice Compassus. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ella was born on March 4, 1923 in Centerville, IA the daughter of Dennie Stephen and Deliah Alice (Miller) Fenton. She graduated from Udell High School in 1940 and then married Edwin Gotheridge in 1941 in Unionville, MO. Ella worked as a cashier with Caterpillar and later as a cafeteria worker. She was a huge Chicago Cubs fan. She loved reading her Bible and spending time with her grandkids. Ella was proud to be a Great Great Grandmother and especially proud of her namesake grandchild. Ella was fondly called "More-More" by her great greatgrandson, Kaleb.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Son, Steven; Son-in-law, Bob Riggs; and 2 Great Grandchildren, Wesley & Emma Verhulst.
