Ellyn Glee Lynn, 76, of Moline died February 9, 2007 at Genesis Medical Center, Davenport.
Celebration of Life Services will be 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Calvary Church of the Quad Cities, 4700-53rd Street, Moline, IL , Main Sanctuary. There will be a dinner to follow at Church. There will be no visitation. Ellyn was born October 23, 1930 in Oskaloosa, IA to Charles Emil and Nettie McKinstry Anderson. She married Richard Lynn on May 11, 1950 in Ames, IA. He preceded her in death on December 20, 1999.
Ellyn was a school teacher for 30 years last teaching at George O. Barr, Silvis. She retired in 1994.
Ellyn was a member of Calvary Church of the Quad Cities. She had a strong faith and blessed many with her encouragement. As her grandchildren became involved in art and music she developed a passion for painting watercolors .She also enjoyed piano and traveling with her husband on his motorcycle.
Ellyn was a woman of prayer who advocated that her family, friends and students discover their gifts and pursue their dreams. She was never shy in her faith and in whom she found her strength. She was sacrificing and devoted to her family and was a heartfelt friend and a support to those who knew her.
