Elsie Mae Olson, age 87 of Bettendorf died Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at the Masonic Village, Bettendorf.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 12th at First Covenant Church in Moline. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd., 6601 - 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to her church, First Covenant Church in Moline.
Elsie Mae was born June 8, 1917 in Moline, IL the daughter of Andrew and Rilla Norton Peterson. She married Chester Olson on March 3, 1944 in Moline. He preceded her in death on May 30, 2004.
Elsie Mae was a member of First Covenant Church in Moline where she served as President of the Covenant Women's Circles. She and her husband also served as youth leaders at the church, where Elsie Mae assisted as a secretary. She loved to write and wrote a monthly column for "The Masonic" for several years.

She was preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Johnson, her brother Bill Peterson, daughter "Lynn" Corson, and a grandson Michael Corson.
