Emma Jean Stanton, Age 81, formerly of Sherrard, IL died Monday, January 15, 2007 at the Bertrand Nursing Center at Bertrand, MO.
She was born April 8, 1925 in Sherrard, to the late George and Thelma Ann Waters Coursey. She lived in Illinois most of her life where she was employed for 45 years at the Farm-All/International Implement Company in East Moline until her retirement. She moved to the Bertrand Nursing Center in 2005 to be near her daughter.
She was married to Jack David Stanton who preceded her in death in 1979.
Surviving are one daughter, Judith Oakley of Bertrand, MO; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jim Hall and one sister, Ruth Coursey Hall.
Graveside services will be conducted at the Sherrard Cemetery on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 1:00 p.m.
