Emma A. Stevenson, 87, of Orion died January 2, 2007 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Orion United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home. Burial will be in Western Township Cemetery, Orion. Memorials may be made to Shriner Children's Hospital, the church, or to a favorite charity.
Emma was born July 16, 1919 in Prophetstown, IL to Abner and Louise (Kuelper) Carlson. She attended Colona High School and later received her GED. She married Ralph Parrish. She later married Robert Stevenson on November 13, 1948 in Arkansas.
Emma was a member of Orion United Methodist Church. She was a 50 year member of Orion Eastern Star #93 where she was a past Worthy Matron. She also belonged to the Birthday Club and the O.T.C. She enjoyed making dolls, quilts, playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, sister Vera Nelson, brother Charles Carlson, son-in-law Robert Lee, grandson Steven Skirvin and two great grandchildren Kasey Larson and Madison Lee.
