Eric L. Bonner, Jr., 19, of Conyers, GA, formerly of Rock Island, IL, died Wednesday, September 13, 2017, in New Albany, MS.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to the family.
Eric was born on August 1, 1998, in Rock Island, IL, the son of Eric L. Bonner, Sr. and Shayla L. Johnson. He worked as a cook for Domino’s. Eric was in the process of continuing his education as a registered nurse.
Survivors include his parents, Shayla Johnson, Conyers, GA, and Eric Bonner, Sr., Collierville, TN; brother, LaQuan Johnson, Killeen, TX; sister, Tiara Bonner, Davenport, IA; maternal grandmother, Jeanette Johnson, Rock Island, IL; paternal grandmother, Marjorie Washington, Milan, IL; paternal grandfather, Robert Bonner, Memphis, TN; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lloyd Quick.
