Eric M. Stelly, 27, of Silvis, IL, died Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at home.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded and inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
Eric was born on January 31, 1990, in Leonardtown, Maryland, the son of Duane and Dawn (Catterton) Stelly. He graduated from United Township High School in East Moline in 2008. Eric had worked at several different area restaurants as a cook and delivery driver. He was an avid bowler with numerous 300 games. Eric also enjoyed golfing having scored a hole in one. He was also a diehard Cubs fan and was ecstatic watching them win the World Series last year.
Survivors include his parents, Duane and Dawn Stelly; brother, Brian (Ashley) Stelly and 2 nieces Anna and Emma; Grandmother Evelyn Jones; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents George and Beverly Catterton; Honorary Grandfather Bob Neff.
