Esperanza "Hopie" Aguilar

Esperanza Aguilar 'Hopie' died peacefully at her home at the age of 47, on October 20th, 2017. Hopie was born on December 28th, 1969 in San Antonio, Texas to Ms. Estella Aguilar. Hopie graduated from Muscatine High School. and lived in Muscatine, Iowa most of her life. She spent the last few years in Moline with her fiance.
Hopie loved to dance, play games and spend time with her granddaughter, Amaree. She will be deeply missed by her mother Estella, her two children Richard and Anissa, her granddaughter Amaree and her immediate and extended family; as well as friends. We will always remember her laughter and giving heart.
Services were held privately on October 22nd, at Esterdahl Funeral Home as her Bears won against the Panthers.
Hopie's family invites you to celebrate her life at Pearl City Center in Muscatine, Iowa from 1pm to 6 pm on October 24th. Please join us in remebering Hopie's life.
