Ethel Marie Dunblazier

Ethel M. Dunblazier, 89, of Moline, IL, died Monday, October 21, 2013, at Iowa Masonic Health Facilities, Bettendorf, IA.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2013, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline, IL. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 2013, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to New Hope Four Square Church.

Ethel was born on February 15, 1924, in Peoria, Illinois the daughter of Loren C. and Anna Larson Farren. She married Robert Berthoud in 1942 and later married Jerold L. Dunblazier in 1957.

Ethel was employed with Rock Island Tailoring where she learned the art of making women's suits which she was known to wear and modeled beautifully. Later she worked for Eagle Signal Corp., Moline and was Manager of the Central Files Department, retiring in 1974. She was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was always generously helpful to anyone in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her brothers; Loren Jr., Bernard, and Earl, sisters; Bernice Larrison, Helen Roberts and Beverly Metz.
