Ethel I. Kruse, 91, of Moline, died January 12, 2009 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, 2009 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave. Moline. Burial will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Pleasant Valley Educational Foundation.
Ethel was born March 10, 1917 in New Windsor, IL to Albin and Hilda Johnson. She married Harold H. Kruse on March 20, 1955 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. He preceded her in death on August 8, 2000.
Ethel was a bookkeeper for Dohrn Transfer Co, Rock Island. and Hanson Plumbing Co., Moline. She loved cooking, baking and fishing in Minnesota. She enjoyed flowers and gardening and spending time with her family. She was an avid Cubs fan.
