Etta L. Mittman, age 85, of Moline, died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at her home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Genesis Hospice.
Etta was born February 10, 1924 in Moline, the daughter of Warren R. and Sarah Ellen (Krack) Fulton. She married Jack Mittman on March 31, 1950. He preceded her in death on April 3, 1991.
Etta was employed by the Public Health System, and the Visiting Nurses. She graduated from Moline High School in 1942, and was a graduate of the Moline Public Hospital School of Nursing. Etta was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Moline. She enjoyed reading, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
