Eugene Montag

Eugene Montag, 92, of Moline, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020, at his home.

Private family services will be held at Moline Memorial Park where entombment will take place.

Eugene was born on March 30, 1928, in Illinois City, Illinois.  He married Beverly Ross on July 29, 1950, in Moline and she preceded him in death on September 11, 2020.  He was an Air Force veteran.  Eugene began working at the John Deere Foundry in East Moline and later retired from John Deere & Company in 1982, after over 33 years.

Survivors include his sons, Steven and William Montag, brother, Joseph (Darlene) Montag.

He was preceded in death by his wife; mother, Mabel Winsor, and stepfather, Ralph Winsor.
