Eugene E. Shaw, 70, of East Moline, died July 1, 2009.
A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 with a visitation one hour prior at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. Memorials may be to the donor's choice.
Eugene was born March 5, 1939 in Rock Island to DeLoyde and Dorothy (Parsons) Shaw. He married Helen Weideman in June of 1995 in Colona. She preceded him in death on November 1, 2007.
Eugene worked for 40 years for John Deere Harvester retiring as a crane operator.
He attended St. Patrick Catholic Church, Colona. He was a member of Rock Island Conservation Club, 40 & 8 La Chateau Park in Annawan, Friends Circle Club, U.A.W. Local #865, and Mississippi Valley Country and Western Music Association.
He is survived by
