Eva Marie Vokes, 80, of Rock Island, died October 25, 2009 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
Per her family wishes Ms. Vokes will be cremated and there will be no services. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Eva was born March 22, 1929 in Erie, IL. She married Edward W. Schyska. She later married Daryl Vokes.
She worked at Golden Eagle as a salad maker. She loved to paint and draw. She especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by

Ed (Sarah) Schyska
Daughter Mary (Gary) Eshelman
Grandchildren Michael Preston and Mandy Robbins
She was preceded in death by a son LeRoy, her siblings, a dear friend William Mosher and Joseph's fianc?e Nancy Robbins.
