Evelyn M. Anderson

Evelyn "Evy" M. Anderson, age 83, of Rock Island, died Sunday, July 12, 2009 at her home.
Funeral services will be 10a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation is from 5-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial is in National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to her family for a fund to be established.
Evy was born August 29, 1925 in Oneida, IL, the daughter of Alvie and Anna Bell (Thompson) Hall. She married Glenn W. Anderson on June 9, 1945 in Grove City, MN. He preceded her in death on March 9, 1991.
Evy loved baseball and was a die hard Dodger fan. She enjoyed working on hook rugs and collected Depression Blue Glass. She loved spending time with her family, her two cats Boots and Socks and her dog Honey.
