Evelyn L. Garvey, 79, of Silvis, died December 31, 2006 at Aspen Health and Rehab, Silvis.
Visitation from 12-1 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave., Moline on Friday, January 5, 2006 with a graveside service to follow at Andover Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aspen Health and Rehab, Silvis.
Evelyn was born February 8, 1927 in Iowa to Garland and Mae (Malloy) McKinney She married Chester Johnson on July 23, 1948 in Carthage, IL. He preceded her in death on January 31, 1957.
Evelyn was employed as a waitress at various restaurants. She enjoyed visiting with her friends and going to the gambling boats.
She is survived by

8 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren
Sister Geneva Anderson Colona
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
