Evelyn Holliday

Evelyn June Holliday, 85, of Sherrard, Illinois, died on November 10, 2013 at Rosewood Healthcare Center, Moline, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 15, 2013, at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd., 1301 4th Street, Orion, IL. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sherrard Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Haven's House in Silvis.

Evelyn was born on November 19, 1927, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Reinhold and Vera (Lanham) Kropp. She married Robert Holliday on September 2, 1950, and he preceded her in death on October 12, 2009.

Evelyn was a homemaker and also worked as a teacher's aid with Black Hawk Area Special Education. She was a loving caregiver for her daughter, JoAnn. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Anne Holliday, and her grandson, Micah Holliday.
