Evelyn R. Stice

Evelyn R. Stice, 95, formerly of East Moline, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Aspen Rehabilitation and Health Care, Silvis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Christ the King Catholic Church, 3209 60th St, Moline.  Visitation will be Monday, April 16th, from 4-7 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Ave, Moline.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Moline.  Memorials may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church.

Evelyn was born on September 25, 1922 in Moline, the daughter of Joseph and Sadie Dopler Kipping.  She married Ollie N. Stice in Moline on June 13, 1947; he preceded her in death on June 16, 1981 in Rock Island.  She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Anna (Bill) Green, Moline, sons, Jim (Linda) Stice, Colona, and Tim (Annie) Stice, East Moline; grandchildren, Lauri (David) Ruby, Spring Hill, TN, Leigh Byrne, Rock Island, Brad Austin, Moline, Amber Moortel, Rock Island, Holly Green, Moline, April (Chip) Reynolds, Keene, NH, Ashley Stice, Rock Island, Alex (Ashley) Stice, Taylor Ridge, Jacob (Jessica) Stice, Moline, Breanna Stice, East Moline, Joshua Stice, East Moline; and one sister, Cleone Natsis, Moline.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie; son, Richard Call; daughter, Linda Wheeler; two brothers, Joseph and John Kipping; and two sisters, Francis Krieger and Janette Sandholm.
