Fern A. Thompson, 81, of East Moline, died January 21, 2008 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 23, 2008 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline followed by a graveside service at 11 a.m. at Moline Memorial Park.
Fern was born July 12, 1926 to George and Grace (Rosengren) Kortum. She married Russell E. Thompson on February 14, 1948 in Moline. He preceded her in death on November 2, 1984.
Fern was a member of First Christian Church, Moline. She was a member of the Blackhawk Hiking Club and the YWCA. She enjoyed playing Bingo and horses. She also liked going to Casino Rock Island.

Donald Thompson Moline
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
