Florence M. Morris age 89, of Lynn Center, Il, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Kirk, Huggins & Esterdahl Funeral Home, Ltd. 1301-4th Street, Orion. Visitation is 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial is at Lutheran Cemetery, Orion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sunday School Program at Augustana Lutheran Church in Andover.
Florence was born March 4, 1921 in Orion, the daughter of Harry D. and Edna O. (Gustafson) Johnson. She married Robert Morris on June 18, 1948 at Augustana Lutheran Church in Andover.
In her early years, Florence was employed as a bookkeeper for Case, and later at I. H. She retired in 1984, after 20 years, as a bookkeeper for the Henry County clerk's office. Florence was a member of Augustana Lutheran Church in Andover, where she was a Sunday School teacher for many years.
