Floyd Langley, age 83, of Moline, died Friday, June 22, 2012 at Trinity, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is 4:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial is at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline with military honors conducted by Moline American Legion Post #246.
Floyd was born January 13, 1929 in Bloomington, IN, the son of Willis and Sally Webb Langley. He married Gwen Broquist on December 18, 1948 in Moline.
Floyd retired as a machinist for Herman Nelson/American Air Filter. He then worked, after retirement, with Hydraxter and Hiland Toyota. Floyd was a navy veteran. He loved cars, bowling, dancing, his flowers, and spending time with his family. Floyd lived life on his own terms.
