Frances Ella C. "Chicki" Bollaert, 75, of Moline, IL, died on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.
A private Graveside Services was held at St. Mary's Cemetery on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Memorials may be made to the Oncology Department at Trinity Medical Center or to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Frances was born on April 24, 1936 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Luther Payne and LaVonne Odessa (Wolfe) Downs. She graduated from Moline High School in 1954 and then married Larry Bollaert on August 7, 1954 at St. Mary's Church in Moline. He preceded her in death in 1989. She managed Mr. Fresh and Convenient Food Mart Store. Frances was a Belgium Lace Maker and taught lace making and sewing. She loved traveling, making home repairs and was a fantastic cook. Frances especially loved her Yorkies.
