Frances E. White, age 79 of Moline , went home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2005 surrounded by her beloved family.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 14th at First Church of the Nazarene in Rock Island. Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00 on Sunday at Esterdahl Mortuary, 6601 - 38th Avenue, Moline. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to her church, First Church of the Nazarene, Rock Island.
Frances was born on October 25, 1925 in Roanoke, Virginia the daughter of Joseph and Mattie Collins Murdoch. She married James White on October 25, 1952 in Rock Island.
After managing Strombeck's Book Store in Moline, Frances managed Zondervan's Book Store at South Park until her retirement in 1990. Frances also held membership in the Christian Book Sellers Association. She held membership at the First Church of the Nazarene in Rock Island where she also served as a Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, and teen director in the Nazarene Young People's Society. Other activities she enjoyed were Bible Story telling, crafts and collecting Precious Moments figurines. Many of her precious moments, though, came from an active role in her grandchildrens lives.

17 great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Susan Collins.
She was preceded in death by Brother Joseph Murdock, grandson Wayne Collins and son Harold Collins, Jr.
