Fred T. Richardson, 63 of East Moline died April 23, 2004 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. 6601-38th Ave., Moline. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Memorial Estate, Moline. Military Honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post # 227, East Moline.
Fred was born May 9, 1940 in East Moline to Fred W. and Lillian B. Chesser Richardson.
He attended Moline High School. He married Joyce Patronagio on July 3, 1964 in Moline.
Fred enlisted in the Naval Reserves in August of 1957 serving in Europe with the Eighth Infantry Division in Germany. He then joined the U.S. Army in 1958 serving with the First Infantry Division out of Fort Riley, KS. He was discharged on December 23, 1960.
Fred started at John Deere Harvester on January 10, 1963 where he worked in the carpenters shop. He retired on May 1, 1993 after 30 years of service.
Fred was a member of the UAW Local 865 where he enjoyed working with union members on many jobs. He enjoyed bass fishing and golfing.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a step daughter Sherri Lynn Stombaugh.
