Frederick E. Sage, 77, of Rock Island, died May 20, 2009 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 24, 2009 with a visitation one hour prior at Heritage Church, Rock Island. Cremation rites will take place after services and burial of cremains will be in Center Grove Cemetery in Kirkwood, IL. Memorials may be made to Heritage Church where he was a member. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Fred was born December 28, 1931 in Monmouth, IL to Cleo and Edith (Watts) Sage. He married Mary Slagle on August 15, 1949 in Fort Madison, IA.
Fred was employed as a foreman in the welding department at International Harvester retiring in 1976.
He is survived by
