Gail Hancock, 68, of East Moline, died Monday, September 30, 2019, at UnityPoint Health, Rock Island.

Cremation rites will be accorded and there will be no services.

Gail was born on September 17, 1951, in Savanna, Illinois, the daughter of Don “Junior” and Shelmadene (Beaver) Schiner.  She married Richard M. Hancock on September 17, 1978, in East Moline.  Gail previously worked at G.E. in Morrison.  She moved to the Quad Cities and worked for Color Craft Industries as a photo cutter, printer sorter, and in customer service.  After Color Craft, she worked for JR Simplot as a line worker, supervisor, and in quality control.  She and her husband worked part time for Scott Blomquist Racing for 15 years.  Gail loved working with all people.

Survivors include husband, Richard; father, Junior, Mt. Carroll; siblings, Vicky (Greg) Nielson, Tampico, Donny (Pauline) Cole, Sterling, Danny Cole, Sterling, Steve (Wendy) Cole, New Hampshire, Pam Cole, Grays Lake; and aunt, Alma Schiner, Clinton.

She is also survived by close friends, Ruth and Mike Defauw and family, Rita Ballard, and Chuck and Teresa Mulvania and family.

Preceding her in death are sons, Ian and Joshua Harms; mother; sister, Chris.
