Gavin Gould

Gavin Gould, 62, of Coal Valley, passed away, Monday, August 10, 2020, at Bayhealth Hospital, Kent Campus, Dover, DE.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 3, 2020, at MGT New Hope Church, Moline.  Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Orion.  Inurnment will be at Rural Township Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to Wells4Wellness P.O. Gavin was born on March 30, 1958, in Moline, the son of John and Mary (Kammerman) Gould.  He married Dorothy Simmons in 1980 in Clarendon Hills, IL.  Gavin worked as an over the road truckdriver for Quality Trucking in Colona.  He was a member at New Hope Foursquare Church, Moline.  Gavin enjoyed restoring old cars as well as traveling, but most of all loved being with his family.

Survivors include his wife; children, Joseph Gould, Coal Valley, and Amanda Gould, China; granddaughter, Sophie Skovronski, siblings, David Chris (Ruth) Gould and Mitch Gould; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister-in-law Connie.
