Gene O. Templeton, Sr., 74, of East Moline, IL died Monday, March 19, 2012 at his home.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Gene was born on November 8, 1937 in Maquoketa, IA the son of Kent and Laneta (Hute) Templeton. He married Naomi West on December 31, 1976 in Rock Island, IL. Gene worked as a Carpenter for Local #166 for 47 years, retiring in 1999.
