Geneva was born April 23, 1916 in Moline to Jay and Edna (Peters) Becker. She married Dr. Phillip Konecky on July 23, 1941 in Kahokia, MO. He preceded her in death in September of 2005.
Geneva was a bookkeeper/office manager for Illinois Optical Co. for 31 years retiring in 1977. She was an avid golfer and life member of Oakwood Country Club where she played on Oakwood's Waterman Club team for many years. She was a member of Sigma Phi Gamma, McKinley PTA and was an avid bridge player.
