Genevieve E. Kelley, 96, formerly of East Moline, IL passed away October 29, 2013, at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis, IL.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 9:30 until service time. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to Faith Evangelical Free Church in Moline, IL where Genevieve's grandson is the pastor.
Genevieve was born March 10, 1917, in Moline, IL, daughter of Leon and Ellen (Vennekohl) Kallman. She married John E. Kelley on December 10, 1938 at the Watertown Baptist Church in East Moline. Together they raised three daughters. She was an active member of Wildwood Baptist Church in East Moline and was Secretary of Home & Mission for 26 years.
Survivors include:
Daughters; Susan (Robert) Kennedy, Avon Park, Fl, Carol (Ronald) Frey, Lynn Center, IL, and Coral Morrow, Colleyville, TX.
Grandchildren; Michael (Jeri) Kennedy, Tim (Trish) Kennedy, Julie (Tim) Patrick, Robbin (David) Ballegeer, Sara (Todd) Versluys, Tammy (Bill) Bundy and Joe Morrow, Sr.
Great Grandchildren: Justin Kennedy, Jessica Kennedy and Janae Kennedy; Nicole (Andrew) Miller; Brynn Patrick, John Patrick and Lauren Patrick; Josh (Amy) Ballegeer, Jacob (Ashley) Ballegeer, Joseph Ballegeer and James Ballegeer; RaeLynn Versluys, Grace Versluys and Hannah Versluys; Ellen Powers, Colby Powers and Genevieve Powers; Joe Morrow Jr. and Amanda Morrow.
Great Great Grandchildren: Hunter Ballegeer, Joe Morrow III, and Ian Morrow.
Several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Kelley, in 1996; brother, Roy Kallman, in 1986; son-in-law, John Morrow, in 2003; sister-in-law, Winona Henry, in 2013; and great grandson, John Kelley Morrow, in 2013.
Genevieve was a wonderful mother and wife and she loved her three girls.
