Genevieve A. Patrick, 76 of Moline died May 2, 2005 at Trinity Medical Center, Rock Island.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be Thursday, May 5, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Bethany Baptist Church, Moline. A private burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Christian Friendliness Association, Mississippi Valley Youth for Christ or CPC Pregnancy Resources. Esterdahl Mortuary, Ltd. is assisting the family.
Mrs. Patrick was born in Chicago, IL to James and Violet Abrams Reddick. She attended Northern Illinois University, graduating in 1951. She moved to Moline in 1951. She married William Patrick in June 1952 in Chicago, IL.
Mrs. Patrick was a speech therapist in the Moline Schools for 34 years, retiring in June 1985. She was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church, serving on the Pulpit Committee, Finance Committee, Christian Education Committee, and choir and as a Sunday school teacher, D.V.B.S. teacher and a youth sponsor.
