George Weymark, Jr.

George E. Weymark, Jr., 79, of Moline, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019, at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis.

Cremation rites will be accorded, and burial of cremains will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Cleveland, OH, at a later date.  Memorials may be made to a favorite charity in George’s name.  Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., is assisting the family.

George was born on October 7, 1939, in Lakewood, Ohio, the son of George E. and Collette (Reilly) Weymark, Sr.  He was retired as an insurance salesman with Hartford Steamboiler Inspection and Insurance Company then went back to work for Tristle Graham & Toole Insurance Agency in Davenport.

Survivors include his nephew, Ed (Debbie) Dougherty of Berea, OH; longtime friend, Jean Verleye of Silvis.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
