Georgia Ann Goddard

Georgia Ann Goddard, 85, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 1, 2008.
Private family services will be held at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. There will be no visitation.
Georgia was born September 1, 1922 in St. Joseph, MO to Oliver and Mary Slater. She was raised by Amos and Caroline Slater, her uncle and aunt. She was united in marriage to Louis Merritt Goddard on Sept. 19, 1942 in Rock Island.
Georgia was a homemaker. Our beautiful mother enjoyed gardening, crocheting, watching the birds, reading and teddy bears. She sewed for us as children. She loved animals. Mama was a kind and generous lady. She was dearly loved by all of her grandchildren. She was a member of Memorial Christian Church, Rock Island.

She was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, a sister and brother and her beloved dog Bon Bon.
