Gerard M. "Jerry" Gillooly, age 57, of Silvis, left this earth to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Friday, November 6, 2009 unexpectedly of natural causes in Chicago.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation is 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is in Cordova Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established.
Jerry was born March 13, 1952 in Davenport, the son of Paul and Lillian (Wieck) Gillooly. He married Judy K. Owen on August 27, 1983 in Rock Island. She preceded him in death on June 21, 2001. He then married Lynn Morgan on September 6, 2008 in Silvis.
Jerry was employed as a truck driver for many years. He was most recently employed by First Fleet. He was a member of Bible Holiness Church in East Moline. Jerry was also a member of Quad City Skyraiders, Charter 3457. He enjoyed fishing, and was an amateur ham radio operator.

Wife Lynn Gillooly of Silvis, Daughter Stormy Gillooly of Colona, Step-Daughters Terri (Kenny) Weeks of Amarillo, TX and Tracy Morgan of Milan; Step-Son Bob (Jill) Morgan of Milan Brother Dale (Mary) Gillooly of Davenport; Sisters Carol (John) Hawkins of Davenport of Mary (Dale) Schroeder of Blue Grass and Karen (Jim) Gabbert of Cedar Rapids and 7 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
