Gertrude Culbertson

Gertrude L. Culbertson, 94, of Moline, IL, died Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 19, 2012, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 18, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to her family.

Gertrude was born on May 19, 1918, in Appanoose County, IA, the daughter of Gilbert B. and Pearl C. (Terrell) Utterback. She married James R. Culbertson on December 31, 1937, in Davenport, IA. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1979. Gertrude was a 1935 graduate of Udell High School. She enjoyed playing piano, quilting, making crafts, and reading cook books.

She was preceded in death by her husband; sons, Larry and Roy Culbertson; and sisters, Hilda Utterback and Thelma McDanel.
