Gladys Irene Johnson, 88, of Moline, died April 27, 2008 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will be at a later date at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Operation Christmas Child, Salvation Army or American Red Cross. Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. assisted the family.
Gladys was born February 19, 1920 in Rock Island to Walter Arthur and Lora Alberta (Paul) Bangston. She married Harold Arthur Johnson on October 19, 1941 in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on November 27, 1980.
Gladys was an assembler for several years at Servus Rubber. She was a member of the Rosewood Roses (Red Hat Society at Rosewood Care Center). She especially loved spending time with her family.
