Glen Strosahl

Glen Strosahl, 53, of Moline, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Celebrate Senior Living of Moline, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be from 12-2 at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.

Glen was born on March 9, 1971, in Moline the son of Richard and Sandra "Sandy" Bobb Strosahl. He married Angie Benters on August 19, 2000 in Morrison, Illinois.

Glen was currently employed in the maintenance department at the country club, Short Hills; he had also worked in residential construction as well as installing commercial signs. Glen was a self-proclaimed foodie. He enjoyed cooking, sharing and eating food. Glen was adventurous and charismatic. When he was younger, he jumped off the Sylvan Slough Bridge and he enjoyed spending time there. Above all, he loved spending time with his friends and family. 

Glen is survived by his children; Riely (Alexa) of Rock Island and Anna Strosahl of Moline; and the children’s mother; Angie of Moline; Father; Richard Strosahl; siblings; John (Leigh) Strosahl and Susan Woods.

Glen was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra and niece, Liberty.
