Gordon T. Ryker, age 96 of Silvis died Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Illini Restorative Care Center, Silvis.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 19, 2006 at Bethany Baptist Church, Moline. Visitation is from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to Bethany Baptist Church, Moline.
Gordon was born October 4, 1910 in Fallsville, AR the son of Winfield C. and Mary Ellen (Allen) Ryker. He married Zora H. Griffith on July 12, 1930 in Stillwell, OK. She preceded him in death on October 23, 1999.
Gordon was employed as a machine operator at Farmall. He enjoyed cooking, working in his yard and latch-hook rugs.
