Grant E. Davis, 81, of Hillsdale, died January 1, 2008 at his home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008 with a visitation one hour prior at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Ave, Moline. There will be a private family burial at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, Moline.
Grant was born March 12, 1926 in Scobey, MT to Wilmer and Bertha (Grant) Davis. He married Doris Stewardson on February 22, 1950 in Moline. She preceded him in death on June 16, 1972. He married Norma Jean Dunahugh Francis on August 18, 1973 at the Moline Gospel Temple, Moline.
Grant was an electrician for IBEW Local 145 for 45 years retiring in 1988.
Grant was a WWII veteran serving in the Pacific on the Wisconsin. He was a former member of the Moline Gospel Temple and was currently attending Cornerstone Christian Fellowship, Moline. He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, traveling and camping.
