Gretchen R. Hast, age 58 of Pinson, AL, went home to be with the Lord on August 2, 2011.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at RoseLawn Memorial Estates, Moline. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund.
She was a loving wife and mother, an avid church and choir member and a graduate of Earlham College. Gretchen was in the Fund Raising and Public Relations office of The United Methodist Children's Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry F. Gray, Jr. and mother Jane Roth Gray.
Gretchen is survived by her husband of 32 years, Gary Hast, formerly of Rapids City, IL; daughter, Amy Hast of Huntsville, AL; son Paul Hast of Huntsville, AL; brother, Gordon F. (Janet) Gray; nephews Michael (Katherine) and David Gray.
