Gretta Mae Hinson, 74, of Moline, died October 18, 2007 at her residence.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 22, 2007 at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at the National Cemetery, memorials may be made to the Calvary Church Of The Quad Cities.
Gretta was born on April 19, 1933 in Sheridan, IA to Rex & Lillian Williamson Barrett. In 1949 she married Clarence DeLoose, they were married for 7 years and always remained friends. She married Kenneth Hinson in December of 1969. He preceded her in death on February 14, 2001. Gretta was most recently employed with the Rock Valley Athletic Club and Lilly Valspar Paint.
Gretta was a member of Calvary Church Of The Quad Cities. First and foremost Gretta enjoyed cooking, she enjoyed shopping and traveling with her friends and family. She truly enjoyed her Red Hatters group, "The Mac" and playing cards with them at the Moline Senior Center.

8 Grandchildren Shawn (Misty) Miller, Sonya (Timothy) Clifton, Michael DeLoose II, Tiffany Miller, Sarah (Dan) Foster, Bryan DeLoose, Chad DeLoose and Abby DeLoose
5 Great-Grandchildren Abby Beaty, Gage Miller, Caden DeLoose, Emmalyn Foster and Sophia Mae Clifton
Sisters Sandy DeWitt, Georgia McCrady and Renee Barrett
Many Nieces and Nephews
Gretta was preceded in death by two sisters; Juanita Sproston and Carol Jean Barrett and an infant brother; Laverne Darwin Barrett.
