Gunhild Lambrecht, 97, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Moline, IL died Friday, November 11, 2016, at Transitions Lifecare Hospice Home, Raleigh, NC.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. with visitation prior to the service from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601 38th Avenue, Moline. Private burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens at a later date. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Gunhild was born on June 3, 1919, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Olaf and Hilda Fransen Sedine. She married Al Lambrecht.
In her younger years, she enjoyed working in the yard, taking care of her grandson, and going antiquing. In recent years, she enjoyed visiting her grandson and great grandsons, and going out to dinner.
Survivors include her grandson, Scott Smull, and great grandsons, Jake and Ryder Smull.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Al; daughter, Julie Lambrecht Smull.
