Harold Burbridge

Harold L. Burbridge, 88, of Moline, passed away Friday, December 14, 2018, at his home.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Moline.  Memorial visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Burial of cremains will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.  Military honors will be conducted by the American Legion Post #246.

Harold was born on January 4, 1930, in Pike County, IL, the son of Alta H. Williams.  He married Joanne L. Blue on December 2, 1950, in Rock Island.  She preceded him in death on December 8, 2006.  Harold worked as a truck driver for Yellow Freight System for 31 years, retiring in 1988.  He enjoyed fishing and working on cars.  Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include children, Jim (Sheila) Kent-Burbridge, Moline, Tim Burbridge, FL, Stacy (Richard) Blue, Winter Haven, FL, and Shelly Toure, East Moline; 13 grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy (Arnie) Ulner, Carbondale, and Roberta Miller, OH.

He was preceded in death by his wife, daughter, Susan, and brother, Dennis.
